Just your weekly fix of Aishlin here.
With Week 6 looming, I really struggled with finding what to write about this week as I am swimming in work! Then it came to me, write about that!
This week I have assignment after assignment to complete and I am working like a dog to get through them. Although they are not due until next week, one of my New Year’s resolutions was to get things done before the deadline.
I am very good with working under pressure but there is always ways to improve yourself! So, on that note, have you any tips for me? Are you a deadline delayer or an obedient overachiever?

One of my assignments that I am doing this week is for English Literature. I love English and it is the module that I want to continue studying for the rest of my degree. Poetry is my favourite aspect of the module and luckily for me the assignment is on poetry!
We are studying early English poetry which is a big difference to Leaving Certificate poetry. The language is very complex but once you get through one you can do them all! I love poetry because it is so subjective! I could interpret a poem one way and you could read it and get a completely different opinion of it!
What is your favourite subject? What do you like about it?
I also have an assignment due in Radio Journalism. I have decided to choose the topic on censorship of the media. I chose this because I love history and I feel as though I can articulate my points in a concise way.
Well, I better getting typing!
